ABOUT Kross Farm

I am Kim Ross. I am a fifth generation farm girl on a centennial farm near Mannville, AB

I am a horticulture instructor and commercial vegetable farmer on land seeped in my family's history. I teach classes online and in person including lectures and demonstration/field days. I design gardens and can work with communities to improve food security.

I hold my Prairie Horticulture Certificate in greenhouse operations and fruit/vegetable production (Olds College). I hold my master gardener (USask), master composter (Sask Waste Reduction Council), and master photographer (Professional Photographer's of Canada) designations.

Land Acknowledgement

I acknowledge the respect and love I have for my land located on Treaty 6 territory, home of the Metis, Cree, Salteaux, Blackfoot, Dene and Nakota Sioux peoples. It is my goal to be a good steward of this land by using my regenerative growing techniques to improve the quality of the soil and reduce the impact soil erosion has caused over the course of generations.
